Por fim, vem o WOD (sigla em inglês para workout of the day, ou treino do dia), momento em que são realizados os exercícios em alta intensidade. “As séries não são predefinidas e os elementos usados em cada treino quase nunca se repetem. Primeiramente, os alunos fazem um aquecimento que dura em torno de 15 minutos. Depois, os alunos trabalham movimentos técnicos e fazem um treino de força. Após o aquecimento e o treino técnico/força, os alunos fazem o WOD, ou o treino do dia, que em geral não dura mais do que 20 minutos. O WOD é a parte mais intensa do treino. Para melhorar todas as nossas capacidades físicas devemos sempre estar desafiando nosso corpo de forma diferente, através de treinos variados com intensidade variada, e em tempos diferentes.

A eficiência do CrossFit é mensurável, já que anotamos todos os WODs e respectivos tempos e resultados, e usamos essa informação para avaliar nosso resultado no futuro. Apesar de um WOD não se repetir, podemos acessar um treino de 1 ano atrás, por exemplo, e fazê-lo novamente de forma a avaliar a melhora no nosso condicionamento físico nesse período.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Quais são as vantagens do treinamento em alta intensidade?”][vc_column_text]Existem muitas vantagens em se exercitar com alta intensidade, todas comprovadas cientificamente.

Entre elas, enfatizamos melhora na resistência cardiovascular, redução de cortisol (hormônio produzido pelo cérebro em resposta ao stress), melhora na tolerância à glicose, redução de insulina, o que consequentemente ajuda a controlar a diabetes, aumento da produção de GH (hormônio de crescimento, diretamente ligado ao envelhecimento. Ao envelhecermos a quantidade de GH que produzimos diminui), redução de percentual de gordura, redução de peso, aumento de energia, e redução de sintomas de depressão e ansiedade.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Que tipo de cuidados devemos adotar para evitar lesões?”][vc_column_text]O CrossFit só deve ser praticado com a supervisão de um profissional qualificado. Além de participar do curso, o profissional tem que ser aprovado em um teste ao final do curso. Além disso, o profissional tem que estar sempre se atualizando e reciclando seus conhecimentos, através de estudos diários.
